What does refurbished iPhone 15 Plus mean?
There’s lots of confusion about refurbished and what it means, so we've put together a handy guide here to explain in detail. Generally, it means a used iPhone 15 Plus has been repaired by the manufacturer or professional refurbisher and restored to its original or great condition. There are however differences between refurbished and certified pre-owned, at Reboxed®, we sell both.
What does certified pre-owned iPhone 15 Plus mean?
Certified pre-owned means our devices have had a previous owner, but has been TechCheck® certified and tested by our expert engineers. A certified pre-owned iPhone may have either been used for a while, have some signs of use or could be an open boxed phone returned back to the original seller.
The key difference between certified pre-owned and refurbished is that there has been little to no technical work or repairs undergone on that device.
Is the iPhone 15 Plus worth buying now?
We think the refurbished iPhone 15 Plus is a good buy now. That being said, the last three models have all been excellent, with little to tell between them. It’s the latest model on the market and grabbing it refurbished, or certified pre-owned could save you between 10-40%, depending on the age of the phone and its condition. This model has a refreshed design over the iPhone 14, most notably getting the awesome dynamic island from last years iPhone 14 pro models. Head to our blog to read the latest buyer guides and reviews on this device.
How’s the iPhone 15 Plus battery life?
As with most releases of new iPhone’s, you can usually expect a bump in performance on the battery. Sometimes, from the specs it may appear that the battery size has shrunk but there are often software enhancements that make the most of it. As with all Lithium batteries, they perform well at the beginning of their lifecycle before they degrade over time. The iPhone 15 Plus battery life has been tested and compared with other models here
