1. Purpose

This policy sets out Reboxed’s approach to ensuring all financial promotions are fair, clear, and not misleading, in accordance with FCA guidelines and the Consumer Duty. It applies to all marketing communications that involve or reference consumer credit options provided through third-party regulated providers.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all online and offline channels, including website content, social media, email campaigns, paid ads, and in-store or event-based messaging where applicable.

3. Oversight & Review

Reboxed’s marketing and compliance leads review all financial promotions before they are published. Any credit-related content must clearly identify the finance provider and include appropriate disclaimers or representative APR details where required.

4. Key Principles

- All promotions must be fair, clear, and not misleading
- Marketing content referencing finance must state the provider (e.g. Klarna, PayPal, Stripe)
- Any representative APR or eligibility criteria must be accurate and up to date
- Promotional claims must be backed by data or clear rationale
- Customers must be able to easily find the full terms and conditions

5. Monitoring and Governance

All promotions are logged internally and subject to periodic review. Where applicable, finance partners may also be involved in pre-approval of content.

6. Record Keeping

Records of all financial promotions, including approvals and disclaimers used, will be kept for a minimum of 3 years.

7. Training and Awareness

Marketing team members receive onboarding and periodic refreshers on this policy and the responsibilities associated with financial communications.

8. Commission Disclosure

Reboxed may receive a commission for introducing customers to third-party partners, including finance (e.g. Klarna, PayPal) and insurance providers (e.g. Pier Insurance). This does not affect the price the consumer pays.

In accordance with FCA rules, we ensure this is communicated in a clear, fair, and non-misleading way. Disclosure is included in our Terms & Conditions, customer-facing FAQs, and at relevant points within the purchase journey. If requested, we are prepared to disclose further information about the nature or structure of the commission.
