Generally, it means a used HomePod has been repaired by the manufacturer or professional refurbisher and restored to its original or great condition. There are however differences between refurbished and certified pre-owned, at reboxed, we sell both. 

What does certified pre-owned HomePod mean?

Certified pre-owned means our devices have had a previous owner, but has been TechCheck® certified and tested by our expert engineers. A certified pre-owned HomePod may have either been used for a while, have some signs of use or could be an open boxed phone returned back to the original seller. The key difference between certified pre-owned and refurbished is that there has been little to no technical work or repairs undergone on that device.
