That’s people from low-income households, domestic abuse survivors, the homeless, elderly and refugees - our community, our neighbours who are all digitally excluded, unable to connect to loved ones and don’t have access to essential services.
These privileges, often taken for granted are still not a reality for far too many people and the pandemic hasn’t made it any easier.
At reboxed®, we want to do something about it.
We’ve partnered with UK charity Hubbub and their Community Calling initiative to donate preloved tech to vulnerable individuals throughout the UK, as part of our 1% for the planet commitment.
Phone owners across the UK can donate unwanted phones to provide a much-needed lifeline for less fortunate people across the UK in an effort to bridge the connectivity gap.

Reboxed and Hubbub are working closely with community groups and organisations across the UK to identify those in most need of a phone such as non-profit organisations like The Worldwide Tribe. The Worldwide Tribe works to highlight the refugee crisis, to bring a voice to those who deserve to be heard and to provide support where it really counts.
Thanks to VMO2, all beneficiaries will also receive 6 months of free connectivity from the National Databank, made in collaboration with Good Things Foundation, plus access to free digital skills training equipping them with the knowledge and tools to thrive in the longer term.

Donating Your Phone To Help People And The Planet
Statistics show that for every 1 phone in use, 4 sit unused so reboxed® is encouraging everyone in the UK to check their drawers for unused phones. Not only could those devices go to someone in need, but donating could help divert tech from landfill - helping to fight e-waste.
Donating is super easy too, simply:
- Be a smartphone (with no cracks and can hold charge)
- Go to sell.reboxed.co and follow the steps
- Receive a free-post donation parcel to post your old phone to be refurbished by our trusted partners
- The phone will be data-wiped, cleaned and rehomed.
